Terms of use
What you may do with our guides, what we do not promise, and the limits of what an independent publisher can do about your account.
Acceptance
By using mailfixly.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors.
Permitted use
You may read, print and share our guides for your own personal, non-commercial use, including linking to them. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the original page.
You may not:
- Republish, sell or redistribute our guides in whole or in substantial part, in any medium;
- Systematically scrape, harvest or copy the site, including for the purpose of training or populating another service;
- Present our content as your own, or remove attribution and dating;
- Use the site in any way that damages it, interferes with anyone else's use of it, or breaks any applicable law;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any system connected to it;
- Use our name, branding or content to imply endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
Intellectual property
The guides, text, diagrams, tools, layout and design on this site are our original work and are protected by copyright. Trademarks and product names belonging to email providers and other third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the services the guides discuss.
The nature of the information here
Our guides are general information about common email problems, published in good faith and tested at the time of publication. They are not personalised technical advice, and no relationship is created by your reading them.
Email providers change their interfaces, policies and recovery processes without notice. A guide that was accurate when reviewed may not match what you see today. Each guide displays its last review date so you can judge this for yourself. Full detail is in the editorial policy, and see also our disclaimer.
No affiliation, no account access
MailFixly is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by or sponsored by Microsoft, Google, Meta or any other provider discussed on this site, and we are not a support channel for any of them.
We cannot access, unlock, recover or restore any email account, and we cannot intervene in any provider's decision about an account. Anyone claiming otherwise on our behalf is not acting for us.
Interactive tools
Tools provided in guides run entirely in your browser and are offered as an aid to judgement, not as a guarantee. A URL checker, for example, tells you whether an address matches a known genuine host. It cannot tell you that a page is safe. You remain responsible for your own security decisions, and you should always sign in on the provider's own site.
No warranty
The site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any guide will resolve your problem.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything published on it, including loss of data, loss of access to an account, or loss of profit, whether or not we were advised such loss was possible.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Third-party links and advertising
This site links to third-party websites, principally providers' official documentation and recovery pages, and carries third-party advertising. We do not control third-party sites or ad content and are not responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement. Any dealings you have with a third party are between you and them.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site, and may update or remove any guide, at any time without notice. We may also revise these terms; the current version is always the one on this page, with its last updated date shown at the top.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here affects any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
